The adage of there being a time to tear down and a time build is evident through Chris’s history of dissecting marketing challenges and making sure that strategies are constructed for success. With a complete set of analytical and strategic skills, he helps professional services firms establish breakthrough branding, grow with marketing that capitalizes on competitive advantages and then dominate their markets.
Chris is sometimes spotted getting inspiration on his 100-mile Century Bike Rides, a pastime picked up during the 10 years he ran his own marketing communications firm. Prior to that at enterprise software vendor Metastorm, he scored many marketing successes such as placement in the leadership section of the Gartner Magic Quadrant report. He was also part of a team that won a $2 billion government procurement to manage the U.S. southern border, and he championed an integrated marketing program for a commercial real estate firm that delivered a high 20% response rate. In addition, Chris published a business newsletter that he sold in 2012 after building a substantial subscriber and advertising base.
Chris holds both a Master’s of International Business Management and a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland.
