Art Director
Brian is the anchor of Hinge’s award-winning design team. His instincts, attention to detail, and exceptional taste inspire everyone around him. He regularly wins national awards for his work on digital, print, and identity design. And most important — as you may have already guessed — he really loves hockey.
In his free time, Brian’s either at a Capitals game, watching a Capitals game on TV, splitting the D himself, or teaching his son the finer points of the game. Better believe this guy’s no duster.
Brian received an MFA in Visual Communication from Virginia Commonwealth University and a BFA in Graphic Design from the Corcoran College of Art + Design. He’s taught design at the Corcoran College of Art + Design, and has critiqued senior thesis students at both Corcoran and Maryland Institute College of Art. He is active in the AIGA and has served on the Board of Directors for the Art Directors Club of Metropolitan Washington.
Brian lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and two children, one of whom doesn’t play hockey — but is an accomplished figure skater.
